Videography

Below are examples of the extracurricular Videography work I completed during my undergraduate at BIMM Brighton.

I received videography training as a part of the TLS (@theloftsessionstv) crew, and the skills I acquired as a result of this training have provided me with opportunities to film and edit interviews and live performance videos of a range of up and coming artists.

Under 18s Battle of The Bands Afterparty - Rat City Promotions

I provided videography for the bands competing in the Jersey Channel Islands Under 18s Battle of The Bands.

Rat City promotions are a local events company who organised the afterparty for the Battle of The Bands event. I shot footage for the evening and created a cut-down video for them to use on their social media.

BIMM Brighton - End of Term Gig Cut Down

This video was requested by BIMM Brighton University. It is a cut-down of one of the end of term gigs that took place at Brighton Electric Studios and features their performance students.

I edited and captured all of the footage for their social media.

Videography Module

In the second year of my undergraduate I chose an optional module focused on film and videography.

The video I produced from this assessment is a ‘tongue-in-cheek’ live performance video of one of BIMM Brighton’s student bands. I took inspiration from the band Vulfpeck’s performances and music videos.

TLS Live - Polite Bureaux ‘Taylor Mift’

This is a performance video from the event that TLS (@theloftsessionstv) put together at The Hope and Ruin in February 2023.

I edited this footage and put together a live performance video for their YouTube.

TLS Live - Holler ‘Talk to You’

This is a performance video from the event that TLS (@theloftsessionstv) put together at The Hope and Ruin in February 2023.

I edited this footage and put together a live performance video for their YouTube.

South Lane Studio Sessions - Big Head Tea Drinkers ‘Tokyo’

This is a performance video from South Lanes Studios in Brighton. We had the opportunity, through TLS (@theloftsessionstv), to spend a day at the studio filming and recording two songs and an interview from three local artists.

I edited this footage for The Big Head Tea Drinkers, which was uploaded to the TLS Youtube Channel.
